Haven't made so many still lifes so I thought I'd give it a shot. I really prefer painting living objects.. :)

Wow, I really thought it was a photograph(and I don't think that often like others). I guess it's because all of the details look perfect and the blur is done very well too. Where did you get the reference, is it your photo?

As a thumbnail this actually looks like a photograph - it's outstanding. Live objects such as humans and animals are far more interesting to draw and paint I agree than plants - but it doesn't stop you being damned good at doing it!
